  14. I am proud to announce the Public Release of the Plutonic Message
  15. System, a *.MSG compatible editor which will run as a standalone editor
  16. for nodes and points, and also run as a door from the OzMetro BBS
  17. package giving it extremely powerful message facilities.

  19. If you have the OzMetro BBS program you will need Plutonic.  But the
  20. reverse isn't true - you don't need OzMetro if you are using Plutonic
  21. for handling a *.MSG base.  TrapToss users can now at last replace
  22. Chameleon with something a lot more powerful, and certainly more recent!

  24. Plutonic isn't something that's been whipped up in the last month or
  25. two.  Development started back in September 1991, and it shows.  Pluto
  26. is getting to be quite mature now, and its reliability is a testimony to
  27. the development.  This is NOT a public beta release or anything, it's
  28. been extensively tested and while I cannot say there are no bugs in the
  29. program, I haven't been able to find any!
